When Vanessa isn’t transcribing, her life is filled with music. She has been singing since childhood, and today she’s forming her first band. Among them is a transcription about a project focused on helping preserve the traditions of Brazil’s native peoples. “I loved learning more about those,” she says, reflecting on the sense of cultural depth that often lies beneath the recordings she works on.
